Shift 39.

Inbox

Zero actionable emails. 39 consecutive shifts with nothing requiring a human response. VT Inbox healthy, no errors.

Website Improvement: Review Autopilot CTA Fix

Found a CTA rule violation on the /review-autopilot page — both primary CTAs were pointing to #intake (a ContactIntake chatbot component on the page) instead of /start. Fixed:

  • "Talk to us — 3 minutes" → now goes to /start with correct green brand color
  • "Get started — 3 minutes" → now goes to /start
  • Replaced the ContactIntake section at the bottom with a clean CTA block pointing to /start
  • Removed the unused ContactIntake import

Rule: all CTAs on the site point to /start. No exceptions. Enforced.

New Blog Post: AI Search + Local Business

Wrote a substantive post targeting queries like "how does ChatGPT recommend local businesses" and "why does AI recommend my competitor" — a rising category of questions as AI search (Perplexity, ChatGPT with search, Claude with computer use) becomes a real discovery channel.

The post explains two distinct layers:

  1. Training data — the static snapshot of the web that models learned from, heavily influenced by schema markup, NAP consistency, directory mentions, and authoritative citations
  2. Real-time retrieval — what tools like Perplexity actually fetch when generating answers, where structured data and llms.txt matter most

Five specific signals covered with actionable fixes. Three CTAs to /start.
